The annual blog post.

So apparently, I only update this thing once a year! oops! Let’s start calling it a “news page” instead of a blog. My third Crafty Wonderland was a success! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported all of us. I had some new stuff this year including a new series of prints featuring zodiac signs. These, along with some of my other prints will be available on Etsy soon so keep an eye out :)

I came, I crafted, I went home and took a nap.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to Crafty Wonderland. It was so awesome to meet so many creative minds, and creative-mind-supporters! I’m not sure that made sense just there, but I’m tired! Anyway, it was a fantastic weekend. Over 12,000 people were there! Woah! My boothmate, Kyle from Button Arcade helped to keep me sane and my friends and booth neighbors, Drea from Whale Mountain and Michelle Summers were a blast to hang out with.

Overall it was an amazing first show. I even sold out of some stuff. I can’t wait until the spring show!

I wish I could have purchased more from other vendors but I didn’t have much time to look around. Some of my favorite vendors included Tripper Dungan, Giant Dwarf, and the ever amazing S.Britt. I bought some rad 3D paintings from Tripper Dungan which will promptly be hung on my wall (as soon as I can find some nails.) Sorry this picture is so terrible:

Nice to see you again!

Alright. Here we go! Got rabbitine.com up and running again! But you know this because you’re looking at it. Anyway, Crafty Wonderland is in a few days and I am almost ready to go. This will be my first craft show ever so I hope that I am adequately prepared and that people don’t throw rocks at my booth or something. If you are going to be there, come stop by my booth (#189) and say hello! I’ll be sharing my spot with the lovely Kyle of Button Arcade fame.

I had a lot of fun creating the images for the greeting cards I will be selling there. So much so that I decided to make prints as well. The process of preparing for the show has been really frustrating so it’s cathartic to draw bad things happening to good animals.

I’ve gotten a really great response to these guys which is simultaneously encouraging and kind of amusing. I had no idea that people love profanity as much as I do! I’ll be selling anything that doesn’t move at Crafty Wonderland in my etsy shop, so if you’re outside of Portland and you had your heart set on a print, keep your eye on the shop over the next week or so.

I also wanted to take a minute to thank all my friends for being so encouraging over the last few years and for helping me out with planning for the show. I couldn’t have done it without you guys.
